💼 The brief
Lisa reached out to us from a referral from an existing customer (Linda at Clear-Clarity Counselling) to create a visual and digital identity package for her new counselling service.
With a clear vision for an approach, Lisa wanted her identities to be designed around her motto: Walking Alongside You.
As a counselling service, it was important that all designs, imagery and elements of the identity communicated confidence, reassurance, openness and honesty.
Visually, we needed to build trust from the start.
🎨 The design
From our discussions with Lisa, we developed two guiding principles to drive our approach.
Firstly, we embraced Lisa’s motto, Walking Alongside You. This became central to our imagery – both photography and illustrations.
The second guiding principle became the human touch. Visually we wanted to capture the human connection between Lisa as a therapist and the people she was helping, her customers.
By putting these together, we developed a strong and trusting colour palette built around the strong blue colour of Migol Blue to communicate calmness, trust, stability and intelligence.
Supported by secondary and highlight colours of Golden Marguerite and Portland Orange, we designed a colour palette that ‘popped’ and communicated Lisa’s strong personality and approach. The yellow was included to create a sense of sunlight, warmth, energy, and happiness, whilst the orange communicates enthusiasm, optimism, warmth, and creativity.
Alongside the logo, we embraced line drawing illustrations within the logo and supporting imagery of people, plants and other natural elements.
