Our story

We bring people, design and creativity together to craft memorable products.

;

We’re a small studio nestled away in the Kent countryside.

Everyday we feel inspired by our environment which creates the perfect space for creative thinking.

Our studio is surrounded by rolling fields, picturesque views, the North Downs and historic buildings throughout our village.

It’s almost ‘Hollywood idyllic’.

We get a kick out of helping people achieve their dreams and seeing their vision in action – and that’s why we get up in the morning.

Our values

Driven by purpose. Crafted by creativity.

We have a burning desire to make the world better – and to help people and organisations transform to be the best versions of themselves.

We are led with empathy, believe in fairness and have integrity – for our customer, for their customers and for humans in general.

We believe in doing good with a big impact – specifically for people who arejust starting on their business adventure, running a charity or setting up a community group.

We help people achieve their dreams and see their vision in action – it’s why we get up in the morning and it gives us a kick every time that we do it, and it shapes every decision we make.

What’s in a name?

We get asked a lot about the origins of our name. So we wanted to dispel a few myths…

× We are not named after smoking illegal substances.

× We are not named after fire.

× We are not named after burning herbs for good luck…although we do like the good luck element.

In fact this is our story…

We were named by our founder one morning when he spotted something walking to work.

He had been to his local coffee shop in Maidstone town centre and was walking to the train station past Brenchley Gardens.

On this sunny, autumnal day, the sun was highlighting and illuminating a vibrant red autumnal leaf.

That leaf looks like it’s burning” Michael thought to himself… and the rest, as they say, is history.

Our founder, Michael Watts, has a burning desire to make the world better – and to help people & organisations transform to be the best versions of themselves.

Michael has years of experience in graphic design, website design and marketing. He is an optimist who 100% believes that if people work in a happier, more positive way, we can make the world around us better.

He is incredibly passionate about design. He is fascinated by how creative thinking can help make information easier to understand and how great design can take your breath away.

“There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no,and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.”
